We traveled to Washington D.C. to see Chelsea perform at the Kennedy Center with The Glendora High School Choir. This was our first visit to our Nation's Capitol. We raced around the city to see as much as possible.
As soon as we arrived in D.C., we dropped our bags at the hotel and headed to the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the blossoms at their peak. We walked around the Tidal Basin viewing the cherry blossoms and the monuments: The Jefferson Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, and The Martin Luther King Memorial. Later we viewed The Lincoln Memorial and the The Vietnam Wall.
